HOUSE

The house is centrally located in the old town, right next to "Saracener gate" and is part of the original city wall. The house is an authentic Provencal stone house. From Rue des Ramparts you enter the ground floor where you will find a small hallway with a built-in closet and a beautiful French country kitchen with everything a regular family needs, as well as dining room for 4 people + washing machine. From the hall a staircase leads up to the first floor.

The living room is a typical Provencal lounge with open fireplace and ceiling beams. In particular it is furnished with a double sofa bed and a TV. From here there is access to a small patio with pergola, garden furniture for 4 people and a parasol. From the living room a staircase leads up to the top floor, which contains a bedroom with double bed, 2 built in wardrobes and a dresser. There is also a modern bathroom with shower and bidet. The rooms in the house is very bright as there is light from both sides.

SURROUNDINGS
Fayence and Seillans located in the heart of Provence, where the year is a very mild climate, with approx. 300 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 26 degrees from April to September. The area offers numerous recreational activities such as rafting, mountain hiking, horseback riding, biking, wind surfing, gliding and golf. In golf terms, it's probably one of the places in Europe with the largest concentration of golf courses. There is something for every taste and price. The most famous Domaine de Terre Blanche, located just downstream of Fayence. It has 2, 18 hole courses and is very beautifully situated overlooking the small mountain villages and the Alps.

From Fayence is approx. ½ hour drive to the beaches of Mandelieu and Cannes. There is the same distance to St. Raphael and a fifteen minute drive to Lac de St. Cassien, where you can fish (carp) swimming and sailing. Nice is 45 minutes. away.
There are also 45 minutes to Grand Canyon de Verdon, Europe's largest canyon. If you are interested in skiing, you find the nearest ski resort an hour's drive from Fayence. Furthermore, there are countless opportunities to visit various wineries that offer wine tasting. Perfume city of Grasse is only half an hour's drive away.
If you are interested in painting, so have all the important French Impressionists and many others visited the area. There is eg. museums of Renoir in Cagnes-sur-Mer, Matisse and Chagall in Nice, Cezanne in Aix en Provence, Bonard in St. Tropez and Picasso in Antibes.
